Oh my- I can relate to this meme. We had a few cooler days, but we are still going strong in the 80’s. But I am remaining thankful for the weather that lets my kids be outside playing.
Also, if anyone wants to start a campaign to get rid of daylight savings, you have my full support! Fall Back is coming up and it definitely isn’t a favorite, so I am going to stop talking about it now. Because…. Today is Friday Favorites! I have some good ones this week!
Favorite Moment
Have my arms held so much perfection at one time?! I am so in love with Cam and Cole. They are so precious. My best friend has twins?! It still just blows my mind. To all the twin moms out there- y’all are next level super humans. I don’t think I’ll ever understand how you do it, but just know, we are all in awe!
Favorite Neighbor Besties
Y’all- my neighbors joke about how Madley is their fourth daughter. But, man, I am just so thankful for neighbors that feel like family. Madley loves the whole Blair family and is so comfortable in their home. I love it so dang much!
Favorite Youtube Video
Dude Perfect dropped a new video– it is all about breaking world records. It is an absolute delight from start to finish.
I also loved Taylor’s music video for The Fate of Ophelia. It was also a visual delight filled with creativity that my small brain can’t even comprehend. So fun.
Favorite Song
Forrest Frank dropped a new single- JESUS IS COMING BACK SOON. It is a banger and just awesome. Forrest is on fire with the Holy Spirit.
I have decided that Opalite is my favorite song from Taylor’s new album. It is so happy and sweet, plus the chorus is so incredibly catchy.

Favorite Amazon Purchase
I am still absolutely loving all my CRZ YOGA items. I have two pairs of leggings, two pairs of biker shorts, and two sports bras. I wear them NON-STOP. They have a wide selection of inventory and they are priced so well. I would definitely say the fabric competes with LULULEMON, but it is a fraction of the price! It has cooled down a bit this week, so I am so happy to be wearing my leggings right now as I type!
Favorite of Favorites
On Sunday after church, my kids all came home from church with a very strong desire to have their own bibles. I told them I’d order one on Amazon, but God kind of tugged my arm and said, “Why are you waiting? Go now.” So I did. I picked up my parents and took the kids to Barnes and Noble to pick out their own bibles. They spent all night reading their bible. They were highlighting verses they learned in church. Baker wrote THREE pages in his new journal about what he loved about Genesis chapter 1. He was in awe of God hovering over the Earth.
They kept asking me how I read my bible, they wanted to mark their bibles like I do. They wanted to write notes like I was doing in my prayer journal. They wanted to know what verses I had marked that reminded me of each of them. They were starving for the bible, that is the best way to describe it.
I am in tears writing this. I am proud of myself for setting an example. I am thankful that God has fueled my hunger for His word and He is doing the same thing for my children.
Moms- read your bible. Tell your kids what you are learning. Share what you prayed about. Show them the red letters. Teach them how to look up verses. God will move in their little hearts.
