Friday Favorites: June 19, 2026

Blogging has been on my mind but not on my to-do list. I’m thinking about blogging. I get internally excited about ideas I could write about. I have so many fun moments and photos from the last few months that I’d love to share with yall…

BUT LIFE…

May was absolutely WILD. It was a tennis match here, baseball game there, school projects, field trips, field days, doctor appointments and so on. Blogging was not on the table for that month, surviving was. Thankfully, we survived and even made it a priority to enjoy the May madness at times.

Then June came and is already half way over. June is when this pregnancy became oh so real! I am currently 31 weeks pregnant today. THIRTY-ONE. Excuse me? This pregnancy has been incredible and easy, it has changed me in ways I did not expect. I have become so protective of my time and energy. Maybe it is because my body is growing a precious baby girl. I am such a recluse. I like to be at home with my people. I really value any one on one time I get with Martin. I get sad when our busy schedule causes us to ‘divide and conquer.’ Maybe internally I know that our family dynamic is about to never be the same. I am so excited for that, but I want to soak up these last two months.

Why am I sharing all of this? I think this is why my blogging just isn’t happening right now. It is not because I don’t want to, I do. I think God is needing me to be using my time in different ways. HOWEVER, if I am completely honest, I have not always used my time wisely this summer. I have scrolled my phone or watched The Office far too much. I could easily write a blog or two during those brain dead times… I’m human.

Now- let’s get Friday Favorites going! I  am teaming up with Erika and Andrea to share all my favorites. Check out their blogs for links to other bloggers like me doing the same thing.

Favorite Week

Jovie, Dom, Zoey, and Ty all came to visit last week. It was the BEST week!! We love them all so much. We spent every second enjoying our time together. My house was so loud, a little messy, but it was filled with JOY and LAUGHTER! Here are a few pics!

Favorite Song

Baker and I both fell in love with this song by Josiah Queen. It is all about having God using us wherever he has us planted. In my own home, as a wife and mother, God can and is using me for His Kingdom. Please give this song a listen- I hope you feel inspired and open to where God needs you.

Favorite Amazon Find

Oh my word- Amazon is my bestie! I need to do an Amazon Haul post because this momma has been shopping! I have found some amazing finds! One that sticks out is my maternity biker shorts. These things are buttery soft, stay put, and wash great.

Favorite Baseball Moments

Both Benny and Baker’s teams have got a tournament win this season. Both tournaments were so fun to be a part of. Benny and Baker are great teammates and are surrounded by great teammates and coaches that show patience, excitement, and continually pour into these young boys. Enjoy a few baseball pictures.

Baseball boys are just so cute.

Favorite TV Show

The NBA playoffs were incredible. I am so sad that they are over.

Favorite Pregnancy Moment

Emerson Jones is doing great. She is currently 3.5 lbs. She is a mover. We had our 30 week growth scan/sonogram and she is such a cutie. She has the fullest lips and the sweetest cheeks. She spent the whole time with her foot over half of her face, so we are hopeful the other half of her face is just as cute as the one we saw!

I passed my glucose test with flying colors, I am gaining the right amount of weight, I am working out a few times a week, I try and get a walk in every single day. My swelling is better. Overall, for being “advanced age,” we are rocking this pregnancy thing.

I think Emerson’s sweet face is the perfect end to this Friday Favorites. Thanks for spending part of your day here at KMB. Blogging again this week has been so fun. I am hopeful I can keep sharing life with you all.
