My Trip to Mexico, Missouri

Hi guys!

I just wanted to talk about my trip to Mexico, Missouri. We went there to celebrate the Fourth of July with my dad’s side of the family, and we stayed for three days. It was really fun.

The drive was eight hours long. That is a really long time. I watched Toy Story and three movies, and I did not get carsick. Nobody else did either, which was good. On the way home, it felt shorter for some reason. I don’t know why, but it did.

When we got there, my grandma was already there because she came a day early. She was at the pool, and my aunt was inside. When we pulled up, my aunt came outside because I had to get my stuff out of the car.

The place we stayed had a big field, cows, three cats, and a lot of dogs. I love cats, but not everyone in my family loves cats as much as I do. The cats’ names were Mr. Tibbs, Tucker, and Marco Polo. I got to pet Mr. Tibbs. The cats also eat these little yogurt bar treats that are like smashed-up salmon, which sounds kind of weird, but they liked them.

There was also a baby cow, and he was so cute. I think he was about eight months old, but he was still really tiny. He kept hiding behind his mom, so it was kind of hard to see him, but I did see him one time. When I saw him, I was like, “Oh my goodness, he is so cute!” I also fed the cow, and the food looked like little balls. It was really cool.

There were lots of dogs too. I remember some of their names were Charlie and Junior, but there were more names I cannot remember. One of the dogs was really loud. I don’t know which one it was, but there was definitely a loud one. The dogs also ate hot dogs from the gas station, which I thought was really weird.

For the Fourth of July, we did a lot of fireworks. My uncle got some really big ones, and they were really loud. I don’t really like fireworks because they are just so loud. I mean, they are okay, but the loudness is what I don’t like. We also caught fireflies, and I liked that part.

We had lots of food while we were there. My favorite meal was probably breakfast because we had pancakes. We had pancakes in the morning for some reason. I don’t know why, but we always did, and they were really good. I also had watermelon.

One night we had Mexican food. I don’t really like Mexican food. You might like it, but I don’t. So I had leftover spaghetti, but I didn’t eat any meatballs for some reason. I just didn’t feel like eating meatballs.

We also went swimming at the pool. This year I realized I can touch the bottom, and that was really fun. Me and the girls mostly hung out and swam, while the boys went golfing at the golf course. One day I had a PB&J with chips, and another time I had mac and cheese with fries from the golf course.

I also got a couple gifts. I got some toys and a new shirt, which was fun.

We are back home now, and this is our second day home from the trip. I wish I could have stayed longer, but I couldn’t because my dad had work, and then we would have had no car to come back.

So yeah, that is what we did in Mexico, Missouri.

Bye guys, love you!
