Welcome back to another Friday Favorites ā but not just any Friday Favoritesā¦the first one of December 2025, and a super special edition at that!
This week, I decided to take a different angle and bring you inside our home for something extra festive:
The Miller Family Christmas Favorites!
I sat each family member down for a very serious () interview and asked them five important Christmas questions:
What is your favorite Christmas song?
Favorite Christmas movie?
Favorite Christmas dƩcor item in our home?
Favorite Christmas tradition?
Favorite Christmas treat?
It was so much fun hearing everyoneās answers. I loved capturing their Christmas magic ā right where they are in this season of life.
For reference:
Bennett is 13 ⢠Baker is 9 ⢠Madley is 7 ⢠Martin is 38 ⢠And Iām 37!
Letās get into it!
š¶ Favorite Christmas Song
Bennett: The Present by Forrest Frank

Madley: I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas

šŖ Favorite Christmas Treat

Madley: Reindeer pancakes (Rudolph-shaped pancakes!)
Martin: Chocolate-covered pretzels ā his ā5-pound gainer,ā as he calls it š
Kari: Sugar cookies, unfrosted, hot out of the ovenā¦and they MUST be my momās recipe
I absolutely loved hearing all their answers ā none were too surprising, but my favorite moment was Martin choosing āIāve Got My Love to Keep Me Warmā because according to him⦠I am the love that keeps him warm. Cue the blush. Love that man!
I hope you enjoyed this special edition of Friday Favorites. I encourage you to try this with your own family ā interview your people and write down their Christmas favorites. Itās a sweet way to look back each year and see what changesā¦and what stays the same.
Thanks for spending part of your day here with me.
God willing, Iāll be back Monday with more blogging fun.
Love yāall! šā¤ļø

I have baked a lot of sugar cookies but donāt like a lot of icing on them. If your momās are good not iced, can you give out the recipe?
In fact, it would be great to see a KMB where you share recipes. Just a thought. Thanks Kari!
What a fun read! I love all of those Christmas movies, I need to watch Jingle All the Way, I’ve not seen it in years. You have some beautiful decorations in your home.
