Friday! Friday! YAY! FRI-YAY!
I hope you all had an amazing week. Our week was CRAZY. Martin was out of town, I had parent teacher conferences as both a teacher and a parent. Bennett wrapped up his 7th grade football season with two games and finished all the Quarter 1 projects and tests. It was jammed packed.

Favorite Fall Item
It happened. It felt like fall at Benny’s monday afternoon football game. You better know I was so thankful that I brought my leopard print blanket with me. Our team is the Jaguars, so it was both fall and spirited!
Favorite Purchase
Oh my goodness- Mads and I went to Target last weekend. I bought Martin and I some new flannel sheets. They are the most comfortable sheets I’ve ever slept in. If you feel indifferent about your sheets, you need to get these. INCREDIBLE.
Favorite Podcast
This podcast was an absolute delight to listen to. If you’ve been here long, you know that Martin and I love Parks and Rec. So anytime Amy Poehler has another Parks cast member on her podcast, I am all ears! I laughed out loud so many times listening to Aziz talk about being the only Indian in his hometown growing up.
Favorite Moment
My girl scored her second ever soccer goal this past weekend. She was so pumped. Go Mads!
Favorite Amazon Purchase
I did something. I ordered that Christmas tree I shared on CWLW: Gifts to use during the holidays. The box is in my house. EEK! I can’t wait to unwrap that puppy in a few weeks. I’ll be sure to share that with you when I do.

This was a tough one. I think it was a tie between these two…

Favorite TV Right Now
I love sports right now. I am a huge NFL fan and for the first time ever, I am watching the MLB Playoffs. I LOVE it. The games are so intense, the pressure these players thrive under is unreal. So much respect for these players. WOW.
Favorite Bible Verse
Baker was showing me this verse on Tuesday morning. He said “I like this verse, Mom. What does it mean?” I just love that. His heart liked it, but he wasn’t sure what it really meant. Such a sweet reminder to never stop seeking knowledge of the bible. There are so many things in the bible that you won’t understand, but keep asking and seeking.
Also, this verse is so perfect for our family. Gracious words are something we are working so hard on in our family. If you have some friction inside your home- gracious words are HEALING.
