It’s the most wonderful time of the year 🎶

Chiefs are rolling right now.

Cats are finally rolling right now.

The World Series is incredible. I have become a huge Dodgers fan. It started last year in the World Series and it has continued to grow. I’ve never been remotely into the MLB, but this fandom has hit me like brickwall. I am a fan, big one.

Madley and I are about to wrap up the newest season of The Great British Baking Show on Netflix. It has been so delightful to watch together. I’m excited because I saw that a holiday themed season is coming out soon! YAY!

I have been doing so much planning!

I am Madley’s room mom this year, so I have been having so much fun planning out her Halloween party. It is going to be so fun and festive. If I remember, I’ll try to take pictures and share details of the party.

We are having a huge family weekend ahead of us, so that has taken most of our brain power the last couple weeks. We have bought new furniture, hung pictures, meal-planned, and have been counting down the minutes to get ready for everyone. Can’t wait to share more with y’all next week.

November and December are fun months to blog. I have lots of fun, festive blog ideas to bring to you.

I am currently in the middle of the major prophets, Jeremiah in particular. Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ekezial are tough books to read in the Old Testament. Let me tell you why.

Reading through Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel can be challenging. Their callings were incredibly difficult—each was asked by God to deliver hard truths to people who didn’t want to listen. It’s both heartbreaking and inspiring to see their unwavering obedience, even when it brought rejection, isolation, or suffering. The Israelites’ responses can be painful to read because they mirror how often we resist hearing what we don’t want to hear. Yet through it all, these prophets remind us of God’s faithfulness and His patience with His people, calling them—and us—back to Him again and again.

Even though Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel can feel heavy at times, they remind us that God’s plans are never to harm us but to give us hope and a future. As Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” These books encourage us to trust God’s heart, even when His words challenge or convict us, knowing His purpose is always rooted in love and restoration.

The weather is fall, y’all. So this TWO PIECE SET has been on repeat. They wash so well, but make sure you stretch after washing and let them hang dry! That will ensure the length stays the same!

This oversized crewneck sweatshirt from Beyond Yoga is the piece that goes straight from the dryer to my body. I love it. It washes great, too. I bought mine on clearance, thy are pretty pricey. I found a fleece Shacket for only $33 from CRZ Yoga. You know I love CRZ Yoga leggings and sports bras. I’m sure their shackets are amazing too.

I am back on the Sydney Cummings Train! I am currently in the middle of her BOLD workout series. It is fantastic! If you are needing some in-home workouts, I can’t recommend Sydney more. She is fit, but she doesn’t sexualize her body like many fitness influencers do. She is extremely body positive and focuses so much on mental health. Leaving her workouts, you feel encouraged and inspired to keep making healthy choices.

That wraps up What’s Up Wednesday for October. Thanks for stopping by to hear about all the “whats” in my life right now.

Also- shoutout to my nephew Ty, today he turns 15! Can’t wait to celebrate him this weekend IN PERSON! Let’s gooooo!

Have a wonderful day, friends!
