Every so often I share a SNAPSHOT post on KMB. These snapshots are like digital scrapbooks for me. Lord knows I’m not making actual scrapbooks, so this is the best way for me to preserve these memories to look back on.
Today’s Miller Family Snapshot will be a football and soccer recap.
Baker played his first season of tackle football. He played quarterback and defensive back. He loved it. He learned so much. We also built some character in tough games and in tough weather conditions. Isn’t that what sports is all about, becoming better everyday through mental toughness and hard work.
We can’t thank the coaches enough for all the time, planning, and instruction they put in this season.
Here are some Baker highlights…
Madley played her first ever season of soccer. She is actually the first Miller kid to ever play soccer. I’ve never been a “soccer” person. I can see myself getting there! Soccer is a tough sport- it has earned my full respect.
Madley improved so much over the season. She was even awarded “Most Improved Player” by her coach. She was floating after that award.
It is safe to say that Madley fell in love with soccer. I can’t wait to lace up those cleats again in the spring!

Benny just wrapped up his first season of middle school sports. He tried tackle football again. He played tackle in 3rd and 4th grade. It wasn’t his thing, so he didn’t play for 5th or 6th grade. However, he got the itch to try it again. I am so proud of him. Picking up a sport again is hard to do. He learned so much. He gradually earned more and more playing time throughout the season. He was always ready and willing to help his team.

7th grade was League Champs too! So fun to be apart of it!
