Another month has come and gone… always blows my mind a little bit. Next week, we enter the months that end in (ber). These next few months are always a favorite of mine, so many memories to be made. With that being said, I don’t want to miss reflecting on August and all the good that came with it. So, today I am sharing all the ‘whats’ that are happening in my life!
Like every ‘What’s Up Wednesday,’ I am linking up with bloggers Shay and Sheaffer. Check out their blogs to find all the other bloggers like me sharing today!
It feels like fall this week in Kansas and it is incredible! I think I’m going to do some fall decorating next week. I’m officially in the mood!
I have been watching the Netflix show Quarterback while I walk on the treadmill. Wow- it is so good. These nFL quarterbacks are so impressive and I respect what they do so much. The pressure they play under every snap, their leadership, and the way they choose the represent their families, teams, and organizations are beyond me.
We have a super fun Labor Day weekend planned! Ill share more about it next week. Lots of family time- it’s going to be so nice.
Well- Benny got the stomach bug or food poisoning Sunday night into Monday morning. It was pretty short lived- thank you God! However, I am just praying the rest of us are spared. That was not a fun clean up at midnight. Poor kid and poor mom and dad.
I just wrapped up the reign of King Solomon. He is known for his wisdom and intelligence. He asked God for that and, boy, did God deliver. Solomon wrote the book of Proverbs. I have always enjoyed Proverbs. It’s a book filled with all the wisdom and lessons Solomon learned in his life.
I had ChatGPT summarize the book of proverbs and this is what it said….
The book of Proverbs is a collection of wise sayings and teachings, mainly attributed to King Solomon, that offer practical guidance for living a good and godly life. It emphasizes the importance of wisdom, discipline, humility, and trust in the Lord as the foundation for making wise choices. Through short, memorable statements, it contrasts the way of the wise—marked by righteousness, diligence, and integrity—with the way of the foolish—characterized by pride, laziness, and wickedness. Overall, Proverbs encourages readers to seek wisdom above all else, because it leads to life, blessing, and favor with God and others. |

September is one of the most jammed packed months of the year! School is in full swing. We have picture days, first tests to study for, and books to read. Football games will be starting for the boys. And Madley’s soccer practices and games will be starting. We also have a couple family and friend birthday parties to celebrate. And at the end of the month is our town’s fall festival, which is always a favorite of everyone’s. I’ll also be transforming our house into a beautiful fall home. It’s going to be so so fun. Plus, the cherry on top will be my sister, niece, and Dom visiting at the end of the month.
Calendar is already filling up!
We are listening to 2 things at the miller house.

I got a fresh new pair of my favorite running/walking shoes. They are incredible. If you are looking for some walking shoes- try the New Balance 1080’s.
I’m also loving wearing Martin’s T-Shirts. Why buy oversized shirts when your hubby has so many to choose from.
I also went to Ulta for the first time ever with Madley. She spent her lemonade stand money there and I found a couple things too. That place is so dangerous. Madley was in heaven!
I found a new lip gloss, highlighter, and blush. I love all of them!!
Okay- I have some big goals for the month of September in the health and wellness department of my life. I am working on compiling my goals and setting a plan to reach them. I plan on sharing them with y’all next Wednesday! I’d love to have you join me! Do you have something you’d like to do or try next month? Let’s reach our goals together in September.
