Miller Family Snapshot: Greater Andover Days 2025

Last weekend, we had our annual Fall Festival, “Greater Andover Days,” in our small town. We basically had the most jam-packed day on Saturday. We fit it all in. Plus, my sister, niece, and my niece’s boyfriend came for the weekend. We are all obsessed with having them visit. I tried to do my best to share our day in my stories on Insta, but this day deserves a permanent spot on Kari Miller Blog. It was epic!

Friday after school, the kids played Twister, maybe the longest game of Twister in history. We also had dinner at my parents’ house.

Our day started early with a 9:00 soccer game for Madley. Her team lost, but they played so hard. They almost scored, what felt like, 100 times. Madley was given “offensive player of the game,” and you would have thought she won the lottery. She was so excited. The girl played her heart out.

After her soccer game, we raced to the hometown parade! It was just the sweetest. So much candy and friendly faces. I know the years are numbered for having kids that love parades, so I made sure to soak it all up.

After the parade, we all headed to lunch at Doc Greens. We were all starving after such an eventful morning.

After lunch, Martin took the big kids and Benny to go fishing. I stayed home and rested with Baker and Madley. We were all up early that morning. I was up to go for a run, but they were up because they were just so excited for the day.

Before we knew it, it was time for Martin’s birthday celebration. It was just the best night. My in-laws brought Smalls Sliders/Fries/sides. My mom brought ham and cheese sliders/sides. It was such a delicious dinner, and the very best company. We all loved celebrating Martin and spoil him. If you know Martin, his favorite thing to do is spoil people. He is so generous and thoughtful to his loved ones, so we all loved spoiling him for a change!

After dinner, we packed up and headed to the carnival/fireworks show. We had mixed reviews of the carnival. Some had a blast, others were tired and queasy. Either way, memories were made.

It is safe to say, we all fell asleep very quickly and were very happy!

We are all so grateful for our weekend together. Time with my sister is so good for my soul, too. I miss them all so much already, but we might be seeing the soon. 😉 You’ll have to keep coming back to find out!

I hope you enjoyed a little snapshot of our weekend. Love y’all!
