Life Lately: June/July 2025

Today is going to be a big one on KMB- I am going to catch you up on life! As you know, I took the entire month of July off: no blogging, no social media. So a lot of life happened that I want to share with you. So enjoy a little photo dump of Life Lately!

QB Camp for Baker- he has learned so much this summer. We are all pumped for football.

Lots of walks with my people. This walk in particular turned into a fish rescue mission.

After a huge rainstorm, the kids saved 13 fish from this ditch.

My favorite start to any day- Love my quiet time!

Bacon and smoothie for breakfast, interesting choices from Baker.

Enjoying our last couple weeks with Ty and Zoey living here. WE MISS THEM SO MUCH.

These neighbor besties- they love each other so much. So thankful Madley has neighbors that feel more like family!

Madley absolutely LOVED volleyball camp!

Here are a few pics from the last couple weekends of baseball.

These sisters had so much fun together- they would play hard and scoot around like they owned these ballfields!

We even got to babysit a few times. Baby Adah is the most perfect baby. And I think my boys think Callan is the coolest kid walking planet earth.

Baker got braces and a new glove made it a little less painful!

How good does Madley’s hair tinsel look?! Thank you, Tinley, for hooking Mads up! We love you!

Pool selfie!

The classic summer mom fit! Shorts and a tank!

Any other moms hideout in their own closet for some peace and quiet?! I can’t be alone here.

Ducks baseball swim party was an absolute blast!

My mom helped me do a balloon arch!

Tierysn and Mads helped with all the tables and streamers!

Surprised the kids with tickets to Dude Perfect! It was so much fun and the kids really enjoyed the show!

Crafting.

We went to Botanica with Dede, Aunt Micaela, and cousins Cal and Adah.

So much pool time!

Baker’s face- LOL.

These two are TROUBLE.

SO MUCH FISHING. Plus, they caught some MONSTERS lately.

We finally made it to the zoo this summer to see the baby elephants. They were adorable! My bonus daughter, Tiersyn, got to join! We had so much fun despite the heat.

So many playdates with our neighbor besties!

And to wrap up July, my sister and my niece came to visit for a few days. We had the best time with them! Jovie’s boyfriend came too, and I think Jovie has competition for Dominic’s heart. Madley may have fallen in love. It was so refreshing being around teenagers that weren’t glued to their phones, still played like kids, could talk to adults, and had incredible manners. I am so thankful that my kids have incredible teenagers to look up to!

We laughed so much, played endless board games, and ate so many great meals together. It was such a fun visit.

Y’all- it was a great summer. Yes- there were days that I thought would never ever end. But, now that I have reflected on the last two months, I can confidently say we had a great summer filled with tons of fun and memories. Thank you, God!

Come back to the blog tomorrow for a fun AMAZON dump post. I found so much good stuff recently!
