Friday Favorites: October 3, 2025

Happy Friday! How perfect is that meme? I may need to watch that movie again, I can’t remember the last time I saw it, maybe college?

I hope you all had a great week. I loved blogging this week and sharing life with y’all! Please leave me a comment on something you have loved or would love to see me blog about!

Like every Friday, I am linking up with bloggers everywhere, to share my favorites from the week. Check out Erika or Andrea’s blog for all the links. So many amazing bloggers out there!

Let’s get to it.

Sneakers have always been something I love. The best Christmas gifts came in the gifts shaped like a shoe box, IYKYK. Therefore, my favorite blog post from the week has to go to my Everyday Sneakers that go with EVERYTHING. You’ll have to check it out, if you missed it!

Favorite Finds

How amazing are these light up trees?! Can you picture just these on in your pumpkin smelling house after the kids are asleep for the night. So peaceful, I can barely stand it!

I also found this super cute fall flannel pullover hoodie. You could pair this with legging, jeans, or some joggers. If you are interested, Amazon has a $3 off coupon available until October 13! So, don’t wait too long! I loved many of their colors, but this one screamed October to me.

I also purchased these pumpkin timer lights! We will be carving pumpkins soon and wanted to be prepared. These lights had over 3000 reviews and were ranked really high.

Favorite Picture

What 18 and 17 year old play Twister with a 7 year old for 45 minutes straight? Dom and Jovie, that’s who! I am so thankful that my kids have so many older kids that show them how to be a good person, a person who can bring joy and energy to a room, a person who can make normal activities fun by having a positive attitude. I am also thankful I have them as an example!

Favorite Moment

This blog is a safe spot? Don’t judge me with this one… deal? I was feeling a bit down and overwhelmed earlier this week. Most likely because I was so tired from the weekend of fun. So i did something… I turned on Christmas music.

And it changed me. I instantly felt lighter and more joyful. I understand if Christmas music doesn’t have a similar affect on you. But, WOW, it really turned my entire soul around.

Here is the exact playlist I listened to.

Favorite Bible Verse

This verse reminds us that when you live in Christ and let His light shine through your life, people are naturally drawn to it. In your daily roles—whether as a parent, spouse, leader, or friend—your kindness, faith, and integrity can become a “light” that others notice. Even without trying to impress, the way you live can draw others closer to God.

Favorite Fall Find

We have spider webs EVERYWHERE right now. They are just incredible to see (not walk thru). I had to snap this picture when I walked by this web. It is astounding what spiders are able to create.

Favorite Dad

My dad is always a favorite of mine! Tomorrow is his birthday, so I had to give him a little shoutout! Love you, Daddio! I’ve always been a daddy’s girl. He rebounded so many shots for me, he snuggled countless hours with me, and he always let me scratch his back… 😏

If you see him this weekend, tell him happy birthday!

I think I’ll wrap up my Friday Favorites there. I am mind-blown that it is October. It is definitely a favorite month of mine. I hope you are able to settle into fall with grateful hearts and lots of anticipation of what the season has in store.

Love y’all!
