November?! How is it even possible that we are here?!

October was a great month. We wrapped up football and soccer (read about that here), and we finished Q1 of 7th, 3rd, and 2nd grade. We also hosted a huge Halloween family get-together (read about it here).

I’m not sure how November can top October- but I am excited to see what the month brings!

Like always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share my favorites, my FRIDAY FAVORITES!

Favorite Sports Moment

The Dodgers did it!! Game 7 was such an unbelievable game. We all stayed up and were glued to the television for the last few innings. Both teams refused to lose; it is what you hope every playoff game is like.

Another favorite was Baker’s first basketball game of the season. I have said this many times, watching Baker play sports is one of my favorite things to do on this earth! Baker and his teammates are a blast to watch and cheer for!

Favorite Picture

These cousins have my heart! All of them, in their inflatables, were absolutely hysterical, and something I’ll never forget – a core memory for sure!

Favorite Blog

It was so fun texting with my nieces about gift ideas. They were so helpful. They also supplied me with MANY sticking stuffer ideas to share on an upcoming CWLW! Thanks, girlies!!

Tied for first this week is my Miller Family Snapshot. Halloween was the most epic weekend ever! The whole weekend with my family. I can’t tell you the amount of laughter that filled my house. It was goosebump-level amazing. We had teenagers playing card games constantly. I heard ping pong, nerf battles, and endless noise.

Favorite Bible Verse

This verse is powerful. God wants commitment. You will find him if you seek with your whole heart. Every part of me needs to seek Him, full send, y’all. Jeremiah was a prophet during extremely difficult times. Babylon was about to capture and destroy Jerusalem. Jeremiah is pleading with the Israelites to seek God with ALL of their heart.

Life is busy. We are so good at compartmentalization. We take care of this, move on to the next thing, stress about that, and then check that box to move on to the next one.

We take care of it… right? At times, it feels like that, but eventually life crashes in on us. And if you are folding 100 loads of laundry, it can literally crash in on you. We need Jesus. Give it all to him. Seek him in ALL you do, and he promises that we will find him.

Favorite Workout

This Sydney Cummings “Step” workout was legit. My heart rate stayed above 140 bpm the entire 40 minutes. Goodness – I was sweaty, but I felt great afterwards. What is so remarkable is that Sydney completed the entire workout while wearing her baby. WHAT?! Moms are amazing!

Favorite Amazon Find

How cute is this Christmas sweater!? Can’t wait to get this into the rotation in the next couple of weeks!

That is a wrap on Friday Favorites. What was a favorite of yours this week? Share in the comments!

Have a wonderful Friday!!

Be a light in this dark world.
