Why do we as humans make life so complicated? I really do hate the sin inside of me. Jesus’ words here are so clear and simple: ASK, SEEK, KNOCK. That is it. Ask him for help, Seek him in every part of your life, Knock on His eternal promises. He promises that if we ask for something- He will supply what we need. If we seek, we will find Him. He doesn’t hide from us. When we knock and want to be apart of His family and His will- He opens the door! GOOD NEWS- This is such GOOD NEWS!

Favorite Sports Moment
Martin and I do the walk up songs for Baker’s team. Everyone seems to really enjoy it, especially Baker. He has been begging for Barbie Girl to be his walk up song for about a week. I was very against it. I thought he needed to be focused and it could cause a distraction in the dug out. #nofunmom
Well, for his last at bat for the game, I decided to play Barbie Girl for his walk up song. He didn’t react at all as he walked up, total focus. Then, on the first machine pitch, he creams it for a triple. So, Barbie Girl is his official walk up song.
After the game, he told me that he didn’t smile when he heard it because he wanted to prove to me he was serious and doing what his team needs him to do. OMG- He does listen to some things I say to him.
Favorite Binge Worthy Show
This is so good! The All Stars are incredibly talented. I love the New York setting. So good. I only live in athleisure clothes, but I do still like to look at high-end fashion, just not wear it. Check it out if you have access to Peacock or the Bravo channel.
Favorite Chore
I love making beds! I also recently got a few new pillows for our bed, so it just makes it fresh and bright! Madley also loves to make beds, apple doesn’t fall far! Here are pictures of her bed that she made and her brothers’ beds that she made for them. Our guest rooms downstairs are in the process of getting sheets washed because of VERY SPECIAL people coming next weekend…. So no pictures of those beds.
Favorite thing coming up
My best friends are coming to visit! Once a year, we try very hard to all get together. My house is the most centrally located home, so for the past few years we all meet here in Andover, KS and have the GREATEST time together. We were once Big 12 Champions, but now we are best friends, moms, wives, professionals, and just amazing women. Here are a few pics over the last few get togethers!
