🎄 Friday Favorites: All Things Christmas 🎄

Friday Favorites is going to be extra fun today because every single favorite is Christmas-related. Why? Because ’Tis the Season, baby!! There’s no better time of year to slow down, soak it all in, and enjoy the magic that comes with Christmas.

So grab a cozy drink, turn on some Christmas music, and let’s get into this week’s favorites 🎅🏼🤍

🎶 Favorite Christmas Songs This Year

I love how Christmas music instantly sets the mood. These are the songs I’ve had on repeat this season—classic, cozy, and full of nostalgia.

5. It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year – Andy Williams
4. The Present – Forrest Frank
3. Jingle Bells – Frank Sinatra
2. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas – Frank Sinatra
1. The Christmas Song – Nat King Cole

You truly can’t beat the classics. Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra will forever be the soundtracks of Christmas in my heart.

📸 Favorite Picture

One of my very talented friends, Laura, did Santa mini sessions this year, and they turned out epic. Truly. Every single photo was precious—but Baby Adah absolutely stole the show with her facial expressions. I don’t think I’ll ever get over them. These are the kinds of pictures you treasure forever.

🎄 Favorite Flashback

This one still makes us laugh every single year.

This ridiculously cute stinker had his preschool Christmas music program. The whole family came to watch Baker stand on stage and… do absolutely nothing 😂

He didn’t sing one word.
He didn’t do a single hand motion.
He never cracked a smile.
He didn’t jingle his jingle bells one time.

And yet—he was hands down the cutest toddler on that stage. We still laugh about it to this day, and I wouldn’t change a thing.

📖 Favorite Verse

Baker and Madley memorized this verse at church, and they were so proud to find it in my Bible and have me confirm they had it memorized correctly. Moments like that are pure gold.

This is such a sweet verse to share with your kids as a reminder of what Christmas is really about:

“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
Luke 2:11

If you’re looking for a simple way to keep the focus on Jesus this season, I highly recommend memorizing this verse together as a family 🤍

I hope you enjoyed my Christmas Friday Favorites today! There are just a handful of sleeps until Christmas, and I hope you soak up every bit of this precious season.

Choose joy.
Slow down.
Do less.
Laugh more.
 🎄✨

Happy Friday, friends!

  1. What a fantastic list of favourites!
I do love the classic Christmas songs. I think Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas is my favourite from the one’s you mentioned!
hehehe! The story about Baker did make me chuckle. I remember the year my youngest fell asleep in the middle of her Christmas performance. Oops.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas!
