This & That: October Family Life Updates and Blog Inspiration Needed!

Well- it has happened. I’ve ran out of ideas to blog about. Send me ideas in the comments here or on facebook! I need some inspiration.

With the lack of ideas, I thought I might be able to come up with a This & That post. I usually do one of these every month. October, however, is getting a second one. I hope that’s okay with y’all!

Here we go…

We recently had Parent Teacher Conferences. All three kids got such amazing reports from their teachers. All of my kids are so different from one another. They each have their strengths in academics. But, they all got the most meaningful feedback about their character and leadership. My kids are showing me how to be a friend and leader. I am in awe of them and so proud. Also, these teachers are God sent. We are so thankful for their leadership and their character.

Baker’s teacher shared that Baker has been reading his bible in class. His teacher is letting him do book reports for every chapter he reads in Genesis. I guess a boy asked Baker to look at his bible because he had never seen one before. Baker showed him the gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke, John. Baker- you are living out the great commission. Well done- keep it up, sweet boy!

Bennett is obsessed with fishing. If he doesn’t have homework, he is fishing. If he can’t fish, he is watching videos of fishing. He loves it. He has caught some monsters recently, so this passion of his is only growing.

Martin traveled for work last week. I can’t say I am single-parent when Martin is gone. Shoutout to my parents and my in-laws for helping out in huge ways every single day Martin was gone. I am so thankful for them. They are always there, for whatever, for whoever. The four of them are our superpower.

Martin and I went and bought a new couch downstairs AND upstairs. We were overdue for some upgrades. I can’t wait to share with yall! Hopefully I can give you a peek into our improved spaces next week.

Halloween costumes are all ready. We are buzzing over here at the Miller house! Can’t wait to share more. It is going to be a Halloween weekend we never forget, I can guarantee it.

I needed this picture to have a permanent spot on the blog. These two are just too cute.

Most pictures on my phone look more like this.

I found a 50% promo for these Halloween Lanterns. Use this link to get 50% off once it is in your cart!

Don’t forget- comment on some blog topics that I can write about! I have lots of stuff planned out, but I have a few days that NUFFIN is coming to mind… help me out!

Have a wonderful Thursday! See you back here tomorrow for Friday Favs. Love y’all!
