What’s UP Wednesday: November 2025

Happy Thanksgiving Eve!

I’m pushing pause on CWLW today, and I’m bringing you What’s Up Wednesday. I hope y’all enjoy WUW as much as I enjoy writing them. They are some of my favorites to share with everyone.

Like every month, I link up with bloggers everywhere to share about what’s up in our lives. You can check out Shay or Sheaffer’s blogs to see all the links!

What I'm Watching...

These days, the only TV I am watching is football or basketball. That is except at bedtime, Martin and I are really enjoying Seinfeld again!

What I'm Listening to...

I loosely follow the Robertson family. I have enjoyed listening to Sadie’s podcast when she has family as her guests. I love listening to them banter and chat. It is obvious how much they love and enjoy being with each other. The joy is pretty contagious.

What I'm Loving...

Madley and I got our nails done this week. She got white chrome and I got red chrome. Madley says I am Santa and she is Claus. I love doing special things with my girl.

What I'm Excited About...

Can I officially say it??? MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

I can’t wait to wear all my fun Christmas shirts and put up our inflatable Santa. ‘Tis the season!

What I'm Doing Today...

We are stealing our bonus daughter for the morning, heading to breakfast, and then watching Zootopia 2 for a 9:45am showing! I didn’t even know they showed movies at that time. No way my kids can say they are bored tomorrow morning, right?!

The rest of the day will be spent prepping our house for hosting Thanksgiving tomorrow.

What the Bible is Teaching me...

I just finished the book of Ezekiel. I believe that Ezekiel is the last major prophet of the old testament. I did it. Prophecy is tough to read through most of the time. It is tough to read about people being blind to God’s messages and laws. It is tough to read about the lives prophets lived, filled with sacrifice and obedience. They truly knew God and knew what He said was true, yet people refused to listen. Their faith is inspiring. I am excited to start the book of Daniel next. So, maybe I’ll have some thoughts to share about that soon.

Ezekiel 36:26 comes from a chapter where God promises to restore Israel even though they had failed Him, showing that His mercy isn’t dependent on their perfection. He promises to give them a new heart and His Spirit, transforming them from the inside in a way human effort never could. The whole message is that God takes what looks dead or ruined and brings it back to life through His grace.

I hope y’all have a wonderful day. I am going to try and get a blog post up for tomorrow, but I am not going to make any promises. So, just in case I don’t, Happy Thanksgiving.

I am so thankful for all of you that stop by, spend precious minutes with me, and let me have this platform to share God’s blessings with you. Y’all mean so much to me.
