Happy First Friday of 2026! How does a healthy dose of Friday Favorites sound on this second day in January!
I am going back to work today, so that is a bummer in some ways… but in other ways, I am glad to get back to a routine and schedule.
Let’s all decide that today is going to be great and just sit in gratitude for this new day and new year.

Favorite Bible Verse
The world is so dark. If you aren’t careful, you can consume yourself in all the dark things. Watching or reading the news makes you feel fearful and without hope, but John 1:5 tells us the truth. Jesus was and is the light of all mankind. Jesus is light that can not be overcome. He won. It is finished. AMEN! Let’s GOOOO!!

We celebrated Jovie’s 18th birthday while we were in Texas. Madley picked out a BFF magnetic necklace for the two of them. It was so cute, and Jovie was so sweet to wear it. How cute are these cousins?!
Favorite Blog Post
These five non-negotiables are the cornerstones of my days. It was actually healing and liberating to think through these five things and get them down on paper. I would highly encourage you to list out your non-negotiables, really think about it. Let’s make 2026 a year of intention, the intention to be our best, feel our best, and bounce back quicker than ever before.
