This routine is pretty routine. I know that if I follow this routine several things will happen…
1. I will start my day with Jesus.
Is there a better start? I don’t think so. I feel connected to God, I feel more equipped to face the day, I am encouraged in who God made me to be, I am inspired to obey God and love people.
2. Everything will be ready.
If I follow this routine, everyone will be ready for school. All of their needs will be met.
3. Nothing Surprising Usually Happens
The kids are very familiar with this routine, they can count on this routine just like I do! They appreciate the routine like I do, it doesn’t come as a surprise to them (or Martin). Of course, life happens, so I said nothing *USUALLY* surprises us. Sometimes a forgotten homework assignment gets remembered and changes the vibes from predictable to urgency.
I start my morning with my blog – writing and reading from 6-7.30. Def my fav part of the day #TalkaboutitTuesday
I definitely have a set routine which involves 10 mins of stretching, cleaning, a nutritious breakfast and responding to blog comments. I keep to it when I’m away – except for the cleaning! Thanks for linking
