Friday Favorites: September 12, 2025

I do love Friday. And this Friday is going to be a good one. Tonight we will be going to Friday Night Lights where Madley and Baker are participating in the fun! More on that to come next week.

I hope y’all had a great week. Don’t forget to take small moments throughout your Friday to thank God for all your blessings in your life. Blessings that, not long ago, you prayed for. God is good and He loves you.

Let’s check out my favorites for the week!

Forrest Frank and Crowder teamed up for this absolute banger! THE ROCK is upbeat and filled with catchy and powerful lyrics.

If your weather allows, I encourage you to put this song on blast with the windows down. Let God’s goodness just fill your entire being!

One of my home girls turned 10 this week! I love this girl so much. She is so mature and wise for her age. She is so easy to talk to and is always quick to laugh and tease (a girl after my own heart). It is such an honor to watch her grow up and have her mom as one of my best friends.

Love you, beautiful girl!

My favorite blog that I wrote from this week goes to my Motivational Monday.

If you haven’t taken time to read it, I strongly encourage you to do so. It is a great reminder for all of us to keep our faith simple and not overcomplicate it. Jesus made the way to him simple, easy for all to come.

Under your feet- this is not your own power, the God of Peace will crush Satan under your feet.

Satan is not afraid of us, he is going to continue to come after us in a variety of ways. However, Satan is terrified of Jesus. Jesus has already defeated Satan, Satan is running out of time. We need to be seeking God’s will continually, without ceasing. If we stay close to Jesus, Satan can’t get to Jesus. So I want to cling to Jesus and be under his protection.

Our church service last Sunday was INCREDIBLE. Our pastor used this verse in part of his message. If you are wanting to set your heart on fire, please listen to Pastor Mark’s sermon from September 6/7 at Newspring.org.

Madley went to her 3rd Cheer Clinic with the high school cheer team. She absolutely loves doing it, but this year was extra fun. Her neighbor bestie got to join!!

Can’t wait to watch these beautiful girls cheer under the Friday night lights.

I haven’t been doing very exciting Amazon shopping, but I do want to plug a super fun post I did about a year ago. I scoured Amazon and found some incredibly cute fall stuff. So, check out this post for great links!

Being around my baby niece, Adah, has me reflecting on when my baby was a baby. And then my photos app sent me the most precious picture of baby Madley from 2018, she was just about 5 months old here and just SO YUMMY!

On Tuesday, I got an unexpected walk to school date with my Baker. Out of all our kids, Baker loves one on one time the most. Is that because he is the middle child? I had the best day just listening to all the things he wanted to talk about. He really shines when you get uninterrupted time with him. I will say, he loves sports and talking about them. But most of all, he loves his cousin Ty and his cousin Callan. He talked about them the most. I’d say that Ty and Callan love Baker too. So thankful that Baker has best friends built into his family, not just by blood but by true friendship.

If you are an Office fan, you’ll love this podcast episode. I shared it in my insta stories last Friday. The hosts take turns drafting their favorite times that Michael says things the wrong way…

They had me laughing out loud many times remembering all the dumb things Michael Scott has said.

I had too much fun writing today’s Friday Favorites. I hope you enjoyed reading too! If you want to check out other bloggers like me and their Friday favorites, you can find them here or here! I also hope you have a great weekend with people you love and enjoy.

Love y’all.
