Today is when I use my blog as my scrapbook. I will be scrapbooking our Back to School 2025.

Beautiful Tinley made a special point to put hair tinsel in for Madley to start the school year. Love that Madley has such amazing role models!

The official first day! They were so excited!

She requested the double bubble braid! It turned out amazing!

Benny started a day later, so he helped them to get to school the first day.

Nothing but love…. Most of the time…

Next day, it was Benny’s day! 7th grade!

Here are the second day school pics. The Texas shirt… still unsure about it.

Space buns were the hair request that day. We made it happen!

Second day of school for Benny. He looks upset here, but it was just the sun. I snapped this picture because his grown upness was overwhelming me at that moment, so I documented it.

Such a cutie?! So proud of this boy.

As another school year begins, I am reminded how grateful I am that my kids are surrounded by great teachers, friends, and feel safe at school. I thought I’d wrap up this post with a prayer.

Back-to-School Prayer

Heavenly Father,

We come to You with grateful hearts as a new school year begins. Thank You for the gift of education, for dedicated teachers and staff, and for the opportunity our children have to grow in wisdom and knowledge.

Lord, we ask for Your protection over every school—fill the halls with safety, peace, and joy. Keep our students and teachers healthy and strong, both in body and in spirit.

For my children, I pray that they would represent You well in every classroom and on every field. Help them to make good choices, to be kind to everyone, to show love freely, and to lead by example. May their words and actions shine Your light and draw others closer to You.

For the teachers, Father, I lift them up to You. May they feel deeply appreciated for the tireless work they do. Fill them with the Holy Spirit, so that patience, creativity, and encouragement flow from them each day. Grant them fulfillment in their calling, and let the joy of teaching grow in their hearts as they shape lives and inspire future generations.

We place this school year in Your hands, trusting that You go before us and walk beside us. Let everything done—whether teaching, learning, or leading—be done for Your glory.
