Summer Must-Haves for Moms: Faith-Filled Favorites for a Joyful Season

☀️ Summer Must-Haves for Moms: Faith-Filled Favorites for a Joyful Season

Hey friend!

Summer is about to be in full swing, and as a busy (and often sweaty 😅) mama of three, I’ve found a handful of simple things that help me enjoy this season with a little more peace, joy, and sanity.

I am always so giddy for summer and then quickly realize that summer means my kids don’t go to school for 2+ months. So is mom mode ALL DAY, EVERYDAY. I am bound to be more mentally prepared this summer.

From quiet time tools to kid-friendly essentials to fun-for-me favorites, I’m rounding up the things that are making this summer lighter and more meaningful. And bonus: most of them are easy to grab on Amazon!

🌿 1. Summer for the Soul

When my days get long and loud, I need to anchor my heart early—and these are a few of my go-to tools for a meaningful quiet time.

  • The Bible Recap
If you’ve been here long, you know I love The Bible Recap! It makes reading the bible easy and understandable!

  • Prayer Journal
Everyday I record a verse of the day and write my daily prayer.

  • Flair Pens
Flair pens are great for marking in your bible, they don’t bleed through, so you can mark up your bible without worry.

📖 “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” – Isaiah 26:3

👒 2. Mom Life Essentials

These are the things I reach for almost every day—nothing fancy, just practical and helpful!

  • Owala Water Bottle
I got this water bottle for my birthday back in December, and I am still obsessed. I learned from a really smart high school girl that you can flip your Owala upside down and it fits in your cupholder- GAMECHANGER.

  • Sun Bum Face Mist
This feels amazing on your face and smells delightful. I never feel oily.

  • Reef Sandals
I got these for Mother’s Day and I love them so far! Cute and comfy!

  • Goodr Sunglasses
I love these glasses, I have 5 pairs. The colors and shapes are so fun and comfortable! Great price at $25.

🧃 3. Fun with the Kids

Because summer should be fun and easy—here are some things we’ve been loving as a family.

  • Trio-Card Game
Martin and the boys absolutely love this game.

  • Mini-Parachute
This parachute is a hit at the baseball games. All the young siblings (and older) enjoyed playing together with it.

  • Blitz Balls
Hours and hours of entertainment for my boys.

🌅 4. For The Pool

The pool is our second home in the summer. Here are a few things that I’ve used in the past that are must haves for swimming!

  • Tinted Goggles
My kids love these large, tinted goggles. They are easy to adjust and keep the sun out of their eyes.

  • Wyler’s Italian Ice
Pool and Popsicles are just made for eachother! And these popsicles are superior to all other popsicles!

  • Lightweight Portable Speaker
Having your favorite playlist playing while the kids are swimming is next level happiness!

💛 Final Thoughts

Friend, you don’t need fancy things to make summer special. But having a few go-to items that make your days run smoother (and your heart feel lighter)? That’s worth celebrating.

This season, I’m keeping it simple:
More time with Jesus.
More time with my family.
More moments of peace, even in the mess.

“Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” – 1 Corinthians 10:31

I just saw Benny’s baptism and I’m going to tell you I cried. To see a child his age with that much faith is so rare and beautiful. He’s going to be a great man because he had great people behind him. Congratulations Benny!
