Peek at my Week: April 28- May 2, 2025

Peek at My Week 💛

April 28 – May 2

Life lately has been full… and I’m so here for it. Between baseball games, blogging, and family time, this week was one of those beautiful blends of busy and blessed. Here’s a little peek into what our family has been up to Monday through Friday!

Monday

Started the week off strong with a full morning of work. I took a half day in the afternoon to take Baker to the doctor for follow up X-Rays. He got cleared! After everyone got home from school, we headed straight to the ball field for Baker’s game! There’s just something about watching that kid play sports—it never gets old. And, with this was his first game back after breaking his left ring finger. So thankful for quick healing! ⚾️💙

Waiting to see the doctor about his finger.

Tuesday

Another full workday filled with zooms, and then we were back at it with Benny’s baseball game! It’s officially baseball season in our house and I’m not mad about it. Gimme all the baseball jams and cute boys! ⚾️

I actually got my phone out to film his at bat, and of course he gets hit by pitch. So here is just a pic before the shot to the back.

Wednesday

I had a great morning at work, then wrapped it up early to do what I do best—baseball mom mode x2. Both Benny and Baker had games, which meant racing around after school to get them fed, dressed, and packed up. Madley and I sat these games out because both boys were playing the late game. Us girls need our beauty sleep. We actually ended up taking a bubble bath together and having a surprise visit from my 24 year old nephew, Weston. The boys played great and the girls had a great night too! 💛

Thursday

No work today—hallelujah 🙌🏼! The day started with the most beautiful sunrise. I needed to get things done at home! I spent the day potting flowers (with help from Mads and Tiersyn) and catching up on all the little things around the house that I’ve been putting off (hello, laundry mountain 👋). Then, I pampered myself with a mani and pedi! That evening we had a family dinner to celebrate Zoey’s birthday—so much laughter, food, and cousin chaos. The best kind of night. 🎂🌸🎉

How cute are our pots?!

Friday

Another day off—and I made the most of it! I blogged most of the day (so many fun ideas coming your way 💻✨), documented Day 75 of the 75 Hard Challenge on Instagram, and got things ready for Madley’s birthday party tomorrow. The highlight? Doing a color run at the kids’ school—we left covered in color and smiles. 🏃🏼‍♀️🌈 We wrapped up the day with a yummy family dinner at my brother and sister-in-law’s house. I was in charge of dessert and drinks. How yummy do these ice cream sandwiches look?! Heart full.

Wrapping Up the Week

Looking back, I’m reminded how sweet the little things are—games, giggles, dirt on cleats, and all the in-between. God’s goodness shows up in ordinary moments, and I don’t want to miss any of it. 💛

“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.”
— Psalm 107:1

Until next time, friends! Thanks for being here. 🤍
