3 Things on Thursday: Ways I Annoy Martin

It is that time- 3 Things on Thursday! Last week I shared 3 things that I eat everyday. Today I am sharing a fun one- three ways that I annoy Martin. And to be clear, these are all in good fun. He puts up with a lot from me, and repeatedly shows me grace and kindness.

Enough of that sweet stuff, let’s get to the good stuff.

Martin hates when I try to do his chores. For example, he is the vacuum guy. If I use the vacuum while he is at work, he will 100% know when he gets home. He will just walk into the pantry where we store the vacuum and ask what I vacuumed, why I needed to, what head did I use… It’s like I am on trial. And if he ever walks in on me vacuuming, I think he would break out in hives if he doesn’t take over right away.

Martin really enjoys picking up all my shedded hair that I drop. He enjoys cleaning out drains, cutting hair out of the vacuum, pulling hair out of his own clothes, and his favorite is when hair is in his food. And now we have a daughter with the same long wild hair. So double the fun for Martin!

I tend to leave things open or on when I am in the process of doing something. For example, if I am cooking eggs, I get the eggs out. I keep the fridge open while I get the eggs I need out. In my mind, keeping the fridge door open reminds me to put the eggs back before I forget.

I do this same thing with bathroom drawers, kitchen cabinets, car doors, pantry doors, washer and dryer doors. He is not a huge fan of this habit. Sorry, sweetie!

So, who do you relate to more? Martin or Kari? Where are all the cool,  baby of the families, care-free people?? Where are all my first born, take good care of everything people?

I promise, I’ll love you no matter where you find yourself on that spectrum.

Come back next Thursday for 3 Things I Wear on Repeat.
