Today I am sharing Random Things that I am loving and not loving right now. I think it is pretty self-explanatory, so let’s get to it.
The British Bake Off
A new season is out on Netflix, and it is just the best. It is the most wholesome show. I laugh out loud every episode. I do tend to start craving caramel or tiramisu or shoe pastry while watching. If you haven’t started the new season I would suggest holding off and binge watching it as a family over Thanksgiving or Christmas break.
New Christmas Tree
Our 10 year old Christmas tree died this year, well at least the bottom half of it did. So it was time for an upgrade. Martin bought me an 8 foot tree from Costco. And it is SPECTACULAR! WOW- I absolutely love it. I will be sharing pictures very soon!
New Lip Color
I recently got some new lip gloss color “Flaunt It” and I have really enjoyed it! Here is a link to it if you are interested.
Forrest Frank
Where in the world has Forrest Frank been?! The Miller family recently discovered his music and we are all obsessed. If Christian music just isn’t your thing- maybe try out Forrest Frank. He is very different, in a very refreshing way. My personal favorite track is Never Get Used To This. He recently dropped a Christmas song that is fantastic too, The Present.
Time Change
I don’t like the time change, never have. However, the optimist that I am is constantly trying to take things I don’t like and find the good. So, I decided that with this time change I was going to start waking up even earlier and get into the routine of going to bed earlier too. The kids have been asleep around 8 on a normal night. I am usually in bed around 9:00. I am now waking up at 4:45AM. This has helped my morning routine drastically. Now if I could just get my kids to sleep past 6:00, that would be great. Baby steps…

Driving in the Dark
I am officially an old lady. With it getting dark so early, I find myself driving to and from practices in the dark. I don’t like it. I constantly feel like I can’t see anything.
Sickness
The Miller family hasn’t been hit too hard with the sick bug. The stomach bug hit Baker and Madley has a little cough. I know so many others that are being hit hard. Ugh.
Windy Days
The windy days are putting a wrench in my giant Santa days. It has been too windy to put up Santa. We also had a dead tree break and fall on our brand new fence. The tree removal company was seriously coming on that exact day when it happened… can’t make this stuff up!
Price of Groceries
Holy Cow- my grocery bills are insane.
Podcast Rut
I just can’t seem to find podcasts that I enjoy. I have a couple that I can always count on, but two podcasts are not enough for all the walks I do. Anyone have suggestions?? Please share!
