It’s the last Wednesday in October- time to tell you WHAT’S UP with me! This is always a favorite on the blog- ENJOY!
I can’t wait to decorate for Christmas!
How sweet is my girl from a year ago? I LOVE my fall decor, but Christmas is magical. The tree, the lights, the smells… it is just good for the soul!
I am also so excited for basketball! I love watching my boys play the sport that I grew up loving. Madley will play again, but not until after Christmas.
How sweet are these ballers from a couple years ago?!
I am looking forward Thanksgiving break! Our lives have been pedal to the medal since August. I am looking forward to an entire week off of school/work and just spend time together.
Also, if you need to make a side dish for Thanksgiving- don’t forget DeDe’s Broccoli & Cheese Casserole!
Funny you should ask…
A couple weeks ago I did a week of workouts posts. This is the routine that I have been doing for about a month. I have really enjoyed it.
I am already working on some blog posts for next month. I will be doing a few gift guides. I figured if I already have a list made for each person in my family, I might as well share that with yall! I plan on doing gifts for moms (like myself), gifts for dads, gifts for teens (boy/girl), gifts for kids, gifts for teachers.
Let me know if you’d like to see more gift ideas.
I am still watching The Golden Bachelorette, it is wrapping up soon.
Martin and I are still plowing through Big Bang Theory every night before bed. I am guessing we will finish that maybe this month.
Playoff baseball has been on the TV alot. I am so excited to watch this world series- clash of the titans!
Football of course- Go Cats! Go Chiefs!
I recently finished the book of Isaiah. Isaiah is one of the greatest old testament prophets. However, when you read through the book of Isaiah, he can transport you to the new testament and even to present day. It is incredible the things that God spoke through Isaiah.
Isaiah tells about Jesus, how he was born, how he lived, and how he died. Jesus himself said that Isaiah was writing about him.
The overall theme of Isaiah is how our sins have caused this great separation from God. Isaiah gives us a warning to stop our sinful ways and follow God. Judgement is coming and it looks very bleak for all of us…. Until Jesus. Isaiah lays out God’s plan to restore us- through Jesus.
If you’ve never read Isaiah- I encourage you to do so. If you have struggled with knowing for sure God is real, the bible is the living truth, or if Jesus is the messiah- Go read Isaiah, it leaves no doubt in my mind.
This weekend will be our first weekend of no sports since August. We have zero plans. Maybe do some cleaning (gotta prep for Christmas decor!!)
I will say my views in October were significantly less than they were in September- I am not sure the reason. I do know that God can and is using my blog. I am confident that this corner of the internet is bring light and joy to others. If God wants to close this door, I know He can and will. I digress… The most read post was my Friday Favorites from last week.
The Millers may be late to the game, but we discovered Forrest Frank recently. WE ARE OBSESSED! His music is so amazing. He has been on repeat in the car for weeks now.
Madley’s Favorite Song: GOOD DAY
Baker’s Favorite Song: ALWAYS
Benny’s Favortie Song: GOD IS GOOD
Kari’s Favorite Song: NEVER GET USED TO THIS
Martin’s Favorite Song: SAFE & SOUND
And that, my friends, is what’s up with me!
Love y’all- Have a wonderful Wednesday!

What a lovely round-up. I can’t wait to decorate for Christmas too! Sooooo excited.
I hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving when the time comes (which won’t be long, given how fast the past few months have gone).
Thanks so much for sharing with #MMBC. 🙂
