TGIF: June 7, 2024

Thank GOD it’s Friday! On my blog, the emphasis is going to be on GOD, not just a fun expression. Here are some things I am thanking God for on June 7, 2024.

Hope Community Church- VBS

I can’t begin to tell you how amazing their VBS is. The amount of kids that attend every summer is astounding and overwhelming in the best possible ways! My kids come home every day absolutely on fire! Baker told me one car ride, “How long do you think it would take to count all our blessings?” C’mon- It would take every second of every day I have left on this planet. God is so good. I am so thankful for Hope Community Church and their VBS outreach.

Volunteer Coaches

My boys have such amazing men coaching them in baseball this year. I am so thankful for their willingness to coach and mentor my boys and their teammates. Both Benny and Baker absolutely love baseball and I honestly think their coaches have a huge part in that! They will never read this- but their wives can tell them thank you from the Millers.

GOODR Sunglasses

I recently purchased some Goodr Sunglasses and I love them! They are very light weight and stay put on my face. Plus they are very reasonably priced.

Teammates

Seeing my boys support their teammates and vice versa is something I truly thank God for. Teammates are so special and often become your greatest friends. It is so important to put the good of the team above  yourself. These following pictures are JOY to me.

Goodness, I love all of these boys and their sweet families. Aren’t they just so cute?

Answered Prayers

Our family recently received news that is beyond amazing, a true miracle. We have prayed non-stop for this miracle, and God made it happen. So now we are praising Him!

What are you thanking God for today? Leave a comment!

That concludes TGIF for this time! I’ll be back on the blog on Monday with another Monday Motivation about self worth! You won’t want to miss it.  I hope everyone has a blessed weekend- don’t forget to thank GOD for all the amazing blessings in your life.

  1. I recently had dinner with friends. I was listening to some of the struggles several were going through with their adult children. I told my husband this morning how blessed we are. I thank God for our amazing boys! They have grown into responsible young men. They have married kind, thoughtful young ladies who work as a team to raise our grandchildren 🩵💙💜

  2. I am grateful for time off for the summer and my interactions with others and my family. My mornings excerising and studying the Word. Even thought things can be difficult, God can always provide graces for me and my family. 💜💜
