Tomorrow is May 1st, so today I am going to give a little life lately for the month of April.
April was a huge month for the Miller family! Baker turned 8, Madley turned 6, field trips, baseball, gymnastics, and lots of landscaping. I hope you enjoy a little broad glimpse of our life over the last month.
Baker's Birthday!
We had a family dinner at Freddy’s on his actual birthday followed by cake at our house. The weekend before is when we had his buddies over for a March Madness themed party.

Madley's Birthday!
We spent the whole day celebrating our girl! She requested “spaghetti and meatball but without the meatballs” for dinner! So Dede and Gpa ordered yummy spaghetti in and we had the Miller side of the family over for dinner to celebrate our girl! Her first ever birthday party with friends happened a few days later, I’ll make a separate post about that. It was epic!
Landscaping
We had 10 trees added to our lot this month! They look incredible. We also laid new mulch and potted flowers. Our house has never looked more beautiful!
Fish Traps
The kids (including Ty) made some fish traps using plastic water bottles. They made the trap, put in the bait, and placed it in the pond. They waited 30 minutes and were SHOCKED to find they caught 4 fish in a tiny trap. You would have thought they won the lottery. Baker is now going to teach his class how to make these traps as his How To Project.
My Goodness, life this month was so so good. God is so so good. So thankful for all the memories that came in April 2024. We are healthy and happy, this momma’s heart is happy.
