Favorite Workout

I am currently on Day 45 of 50 of Caroline Girvan’s Epic Heat Workout program. My favorite workout so far from this program was day # 39, COLOSSAL Full Body Workout- Strength & Cardio. It was a full body strength workout. I used 25lb or 20lb dumbbells for the entire workout, which is a new record for me, I was very proud of myself! I burned 243 active calories in this 39 min. workout.

Favorite Verse

How have I not known this verse until this week? That is what I love about reading the bible, you are constantly learning and uncovering more of God’s truth and promises. Maybe I heard this voice back in my youth, when I never had times of trouble or seen loved ones go through times of trouble.

A few things I took from this verse…

The author of Nahum is unknown, but many believe it was Jeremiah that wrote it. Jeremiah is not a prophet I would have wanted to be. He had to speak God’s messages to people who didn’t like truth. He also had so many other “prophets” who “prophesied” what Israel wanted to hear, not God’s truth. So Jeremiah’s words were also lost in other peoples’ lies.

This reminds me of social media in a way. There are so many “influencers” that are not showing you the facts, being 100% real. We get frustrated and feel inadequate because we don’t and can’t live up to to that standard. Be careful what you let your mind and eyes consume, be sure you know truth. Be sure you know who you are to God. He is good. He is your refuge. He cares for you! WOW!

Favortie Moment

This is a picture of Baker reading his bible first thing in the morning, during my quiet time. He has started to plop down right by me and read his bible. He is starting to read, so he will tell me what words he knows on the pages and always what page number he is on (math nerd like his dad).

Don’t ever forget- Your kids are watching and learning how to be a good person from what you do far more than what you say. Be the person you want your kids to grow up to be- today! The next generation is so important, maybe more important than ever before. I fail so many times (SO MANY), but I am thankful for moments like this. God gives me glimpses of the good fruit I am bearing (will bear) and it sustains me and renews me to continue to be more like Jesus.

Favorite Amazon Purchase

I purchased a new desk calendar for July 2023-July 2024. I hang this calendar up in our pantry. I also write the school lunch menu and ALL the SPORT things on this calendar. It is so handy, so the kids can look anytime they have a schedule or menu question. I picked this BLOOM DAILY PLANNER because it is thematic by months. Each month is so cute and festive.

Favorite Pictures

Our sweet nephew turned one last week. All five of us are so obsessed with Callan, he is the world’s happiest baby. He is beyond adorable and is a social butterfly. Here are a few pics we snagged this week. His first swim and his first baseball game, all with his cousins!

Favorite Chore

I actually hate laundry, it is a never ending pile of doom. It is the chore that never ends, it goes on and on my friends…

I am trying to manifest laundry into my favorite chore. I’ll keep you posted. 🙂

That is all for this week’s favorites! Have a wonderful weekend! I will be baseball mom this weekend and I can’t wait to cheer on my boys and his teammates.
