Another month has come and gone, believe it or not! That means it is time to post my monthly fitness stats from July 12 – August 12!
Last month I posted my fitness stats from June 11-July 11. And a month before that I posted my fitness stats from May 10-June 10. Check out those, if you are interested.
This past month didn’t go to plan, I tweaked my right knee right before our Florida trip. This tweak made lifting lower body and running not possible. Therefore, I had to switch gears a little. I upped my upper body strength training and added a lot of walking. Walking did not hurt my knee at all. I am very thankful for that.
My knee is feeling so much better, and I am now starting to add some functional strength training for my lower body and it has gone really well. I can now jog with no pain, however, I am not doing runs as of now. I may ease back into my running routine in the fall.
Without further ado- let’s check out my stats from last month!
“Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.”
1 Corinthians 6:19-20
I want exercise to be an offering of thanksgiving to God.
July 12- August 12 Fitness Stats
Total Minutes of Exercise: 2,983 minutes (+934 minutes from last month)
Total Steps: 423,352 steps (+16,738 steps from last month)
Total Miles Walked: 189.71 miles (+5.96 miles from last month)
Runs Completed: 2 (-6 from last month)
Weight Training Workouts Completed: 19 (+5 from last month)
Let’s GOOOOO- I am so proud of myself! I didn’t let an injury stop me from moving. I was able to adjust, recalibrate, and keep going.
This past month will be hard to beat. With school starting and the demands of motherhood skyrocketing, it will be interesting to see how my stats come out for next month. I’ll just keep on moving and thanking God for this healthy body.
Please come back tomorrow- It is August’s SPOTLIGHT post. You will not want to miss hearing from the most JOYFUL and BEAUTIFUL person in my life.
