Thank GOD it’s Friday!
Today I am using my blog to share a few things that I am thanking GOD for on this Friday in November. About once a month I do this on the blog, but I try to practice gratitude every single day.
It’s not always easy but having a habit of expressing gratitude does make it come easier and easier with practice.
I challenge all of you to order a sweet little journal like this one and set an alarm to write down what you are grateful for, start with just writing one thing. Don’t make it a big undertaking. Over time, you will have a full journal of gratitude. And finding things to write down will come quicker for you.
Here is my gratitude “journal” for today! Enjoy!
Basketball Coaches
I haven’t coached my boys in basketball for a few years now, and I am so thankful that other coaches have stepped up and filled that role. I know the energy and time it takes to do that job. I appreciate all that they do to deepen my boys’ love and knowledge of the game.
Thanksgiving Break
Emphasis on the “break.” We are all excited for a change of pace for the next week. I hope to have lots of time to sloooowww down and just be.
My New Nails
Okay- I get my nails done at Precious Nails here in town, and my girl, Lena, is so talented and sweet, and so fun to chat with! I copied the nails that she had and they are STUNNING!! She told me she did OPI colors of Funny Bunny mixed with their Bubble Bath. My nails have never been prettier, I will definitely be using these colors again!!
Don’t they look so pretty typing?!
My Blog Readers
Do you know six months ago (tomorrow) I hard launched my blog? I can’t believe I have blogged every single day (M-F) for six months straight. I have made ZERO dollars, but have loved every single second. It is so fun to have this hobby and share my heart with yall! Thank you for coming back day after day to read and support me. Please continue to come back and share this blog with friends. I want this blog to be a light for others to see, and maybe learn more about Jesus while they are here!
Baker (and Madley’s) PE Teacher
The Millers aren’t in the high reading groups. We don’t win spelling bees. We love school and work hard, don’t get me wrong. But we are pretty good at PE. Baker absolutely adores his PE teacher. She is so tremendous. She really lets Baker shine in her gym. Today Baker gets to compete in the school wide cup-stacking competition finals. He is up against two fifth graders. This is all because of how she teaches and challenges her students. So much fun!
My Sister
My sister is coming to Kansas for THREE WHOLE DAYS! I am soooooooooooo excited and so dang thankful for the precious time we will spend together! Me and my kids love when Aunt Trishy is here!
What are you thanking GOD for today? Leave me a comment.
