Q & A: January 2025

A couple days ago I posted a question box on my Insta stories, asking for questions that I could answer on an upcoming blog post. And… here we are. Today I am answering five questions that I got.

K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) Meals. They really are the only way I cook. Here are a couple that are on constant repeat.

Buffalo Chicken Salad

I use Costco’s Just Bare Spicy Tenders (frozen) and a package of Taylor Farms Buffalo Ranch Salad kit. These two things together are so delicious! Takes about 10 minutes for the chicken to cook in the air fryer and dinner is served! Side Note: you could use any type of chicken (rotisserie, pulled, leftover grilled chicken) and coat it with a thin layer of Frank’s hot sauce.

Meat and Sweet Potato

Grill up some meat (chicken or steak in our house), put a sweet potato in the microwave using your potato setting. You will have a very nutritious and delicious meal. You could pair this with a veggie or salad too.

Fajitas

I like to use a rotisserie chicken, strip all the chicken off, throw it on a skillet with some dry fajita seasoning (not too much). Saute some peppers and onion with the remainder of the seasoning packet. And Bam! You have delicious fajitas. Put them in a bowl or tortilla.

Chicken Wraps

I usually make these when I have leftover chicken or frozen tenders. I take a salad kit and use those ingredients inside a tortilla with chicken, roll it all up, and enjoy. A super yummy, FAST dinner! Pair it with hummus and pretzels.

Turkey Melts

Think of this like grilled cheese, kind of. Cut up some sourdough, spread some butter on it. I usually put my turkey and cheese in the microwave for a quick blast before throwing it on the cook top with the bread (that ensures the cheese gets all melty). Martin and I like to use honey mustard or Chick fil a sauce. If you have an avocado or even bacon, that is also really nice on it too!

Pair this with a salad or raw veggies and dip.

Well- isn’t this person just a doll?! I have NO knowledge of products, but I do have a skincare routine that I have stuck to for years now. I haven’t felt the need to make drastic changes… yet. Maybe consistency is important to skin care. I have added a few things as I learn about new things, but this is what I am currently doing.

Thank you to those of you who asked questions. I never type in people’s question boxes, so I understand if you didn’t. However, if you ever have a fun blog idea, send it my way. See y’all tomorrow for another Friday Favorites.
