Miller Family Snapshot: Sky Photos

Am I getting old? Probably. Bear with me on this one.

Recently, I have become obsessed with the sky. My phone is filled with pictures of the sky. In Kansas, we have had some gnarly storms this spring. Every single one was followed by the most incredible sunsets I have ever seen. We even got to see the Northern Lights. Crazy!

Here are a few sky photos that I took using my phone. If you have any amazing sky photos, I’d love to see them! Email them to me, [email protected]. Please help me feel better about not being the only sky person. Thanks.

Before the pictures, how beautiful is this Psalm that King David wrote…

The heavens declare the glory of God;

the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

Day after day they pour forth speech;

 night after night they reveal knowledge.

They have no speech, they use no words;

no sound is heard from them.

Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,

 their words to the ends of the world.

In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.

 It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,

like a champion rejoicing to run his course.

 It rises at one end of the heavens

and makes its circuit to the other;

nothing is deprived of its warmth.

Psalm 19:1-6

If I had to bet, King David was also a big SKY loving person. I guess you could say I am in pretty good company. God is so powerful and mighty, He is the creator. God’s beautiful creations are all around us. Don’t ever forget that YOU were created in God’s image. You are so valuable and precious to Him.

Enjoy my sky pictures!

Don’t forget to email me your sky pictures! Maybe we should do sky photos part 2 in the future!
