This last weekend was one for the books. It was so good. So good that I wanted to document the weekend recap on the blog, so I would never forget it. I know I teased this big weekend last week on the blog. It was absolutely jammed packed!
Let’s get to the good stuff!
The weekend started on Saturday morning. Baker had a flag football game- we had so many family members there to support Baker and his team. They played incredibly. Baker played to impress and I think everyone was.
Dede and Madley are missing from this picture because they stayed in Andover to go to the Greater Andover Days Parade with Micaela, Marshall, and cousin Callan!
Also, parading with our neighbor besties is just the cherry on top!
After our fun mornings, the girls of the family went to the mall to help Jovie find her homecoming dress! It was an adventure. She tried on 30+ dresses. She looked stunning in all of them!!
While the girls were shopping, the boys fished!
Dom (Jovie’s BF) fits right in with the boys! Like the fish he caught, we all think he is a keeper!
Martin ordered the entire family a FUZZY’S Nacho/Taco Bar. It was so yummy. We all needed full bellies because after dinner, we headed up to the GAD Carnival and Fireworks show. It was such a blast!
Madley getting a ride to the rides.
Walking with my birthday boy cutie!
These two! They really do love each other, and Zoey is soooo patient with Madley.
Not excited at all.
Found a friend!
Slide Races!
Benny and Dom on the Rockstar!
Can’t do the carnival without Cooper! It’s a tradition!
The excitement these girls had when they saw each other. Maybe my favorite moment! Madley + Naomi = BFF!
Baker and his girls.
Silly boys!
They got to ride Freak Out during the fireworks show. They said it was awesome.
That is the end of Saturday. Now on to Sunday!
Sunday was Martin’s birthday! Everyone slept in after such a late night. We had pancakes and made it to church. After church we ran a few errands and made it home to everyone coming over for lunch. I didn’t get any pictures, but we had fun until it was time for the Texas folks to head back.
We got a couple hours to rest before Martin’s birthday get together! Everyone came back over for the Chiefs’ game. Dede and Bae made soups, we got Panera’s bread bowls, and Costco cakes. It was fun celebrating my favorite person turning 37!
These were the only pictures I got of the birthday party, but how cute are these cousins?! It may be the cutest couch in the history of couches! Callan loves his cousins and his “bonus” cousins. And boy, do we all love Callan!
And that is a recap of our weekend. It was so good. We are so tired. Thanking God for all these people in these pictures and the precious time we got to spend together!
Other RECAPS to check out!
Oh wow! What a fun packed weekend!
How wonderful that the whole family came out to support Baker! The carnival looks great and happy birthday to Martin!
Our hearts are so full- and we all went to bed at 8:00 last night!!! Still recovering.
Wonderful family get-together sharing happiness!
So many fun moments!
That carnival looks like a blast!
The birthday celebration sounds perfect with the Chiefs’ game and those bread bowls!
Such a great way to wrap up an unforgettable weekend!
It’s always great when family get together for a time of celebration. Seems like everyone had fun. Lucky you 🙂
