Friday Favorites: January 17, 2025

Friday Favorites are always a fav here on the blog. I hope everyone had a great week. After three snow days last week, this week felt particularly long for us. But thanks to MLK Day, we will have a shorter week next week. 

Martin and the kids had the greatest time ever making these GINORMOUS snowmen. 

Not much was purchased this week besides groceries and school lunches. But I did splurge and buy a pack of these Sharpie Pens. They are incredible. 

Sledding is always fun, but sledding with friends is a BLAST! 

My favorite post from this week was probably my Everyday Musts post. My everyday musts make me so happy, so writing about them also made me so happy!

Well, it isn’t my outdoor walks. Those have been nonexistent for the last couple weeks. Ruby isn’t sure what to do with herself. She will just come up to me with this look…

Breaks my heart. Can’t wait for this snow/ice to melt and we can get back out there.

On the bright side- our treadmill died and Martin bought us a new one. It is so incredible. I have gotten lots of miles logged already on it! Maybe I should write a review post of it. I LOVE IT! Anyone looking for a new treadmill?? Get the Assault Fitness Runner!

Well- Everyday I have looked at this lounge set on Amazon. I haven’t purchased it yet.. But I am getting close. LOL. Anyone want to buy it, wear it, and then tell me if I should too?? I’d really appreciate it.

What a verse. I wish everyone knew this verse. Imagine a scared child reaching for their parent’s hand. That parent would hold that hand to let them know they will keep them safe and help them and be there with them. This is what God is to his children. He isn’t shaming you, turning his back to you, sending good or bad karma your way. He is simply trying to reach for your hand to let you know “DO NOT FEAR; I WILL HELP YOU.” C’mon- God is so good.
