Happy Friday Friends!! I hope your February is off to a great start. Ours has started a little rocky with Influenza A, but we are all super hopeful the second week of February will be full of health and happiness.

Does not change. God does not change.

Our world is scary, events happen that can change everything in a split second. James talks about how we will face trials. He tells us to rejoice in these trials, because it will lead to perseverance. James also tells us if we lack wisdom, we just need to ask God for it and then BELIEVE it.

This may sound silly, but this week has been a bit of a trial for our family. I know Benny has the flu, it’s not that scary. However, I had a child that is always up and running, living life to the fullest. He LOVES school and LOVES his siblings. It was heartbreaking to have that version of Bennett disappear for a week. But during this trial, I have prayed more specifically, learned to appreciate health, and leaned more on God’s timing than I did before.

House of Miracles by Brandon Lake.

One of Benny’s baseball teammates has an older brother that has been in the hospital and had way too many surgeries. He is fighting so hard and overcoming so many obstacles that keep popping up. We play this song every single morning and pray for him, his parents, and the healthcare workers.

I’m pretty pumped about my January Fitness Stats! It got me hyped to beat those numbers in February! Let’s goooooo!

Well the Lounge Set from Amazon that I talked about last week is definitely still a favorite.

Another NEW favorite is elderberry! Since Benny tested positive for Flu A, his doctor told us to ALL start taking elderberries. And so far, we have all been spared from the flu in our house. We have both gummies and drops.

I really only took a handful of pictures over the last week. I took this picture of Benny (Day 4 of Flu) laying outside on the most gorgeous February day. The reason I love this picture is because of that furball next to him. Ruby has just been the sweetest friend to Benny this week. When you have the flu, you don’t get very much physical touch. Ruby has been his snuggle buddy, day and night. So thankful for our sweet pup.

I didn’t share this last week, but couldn’t go two weeks without sharing it. We recently celebrated DeDe’s birthday at the YMCA. All her grandkids (including Ty & Zoey) had so much fun celebrating their DeDe. She is the best!

If I am totally honest with yall, this past week wasn’t my favorite. Bennett was sick, like SICK, all week long. It was quite heartbreaking. However, God has seen us through, provided wonderful healthcare workers, and blessed us with teachers that genuinely care and miss Bennett. And without the dumb flu, these blessings wouldn’t be shining so bright right now. Now, c’mon spring. The Millers are ready for you!

Love y’all!
