Friday Favorites: April 4, 2025

WooHoo! It is Friday!

April is a wild month for us. Baseball has officially puked all over our calendar. We have sooo many April birthdays in our family. And Easter is in April this year. WOW- it is all wonderful, but it does leave me a little scattered and frazzled at times.

But, I couldn’t go another Friday without some Friday Favs. So, let’s jump right in!

King David wrote Psalm 103. He is reminding his own soul to never forget all the things God has done for him. I encourage you to go and read Psalm 103 when you are feeling overwhelmed or when your world around you is becoming unbearable or out of control. Psalm 103 is a great reminder of who God is and how powerful and merciful He is.

My best friends came to stay for the weekend. It was the best! All our kids love each other. They played ALL.DAY.LONG.

Due to our crazy baseball schedule, Baker had a mini birthday party after school on his birthday. His friends walk home from school. They got a lot of honks and stares. They have so much fun together. They are SOOOO loud, super giggly, and a little handsy. Despite all that, I am so thankful for their friendship. It is so special!

For obvious reasons. This kid is the best, so a blog post all about him is definitely the best.

Well, wouldn’t you know, I filmed Baker’s entire birthday party. Using iMovie, I made it into a Dude Perfect inspired Overtime episode. The boys loved it and think they are pretty hot stuff to have their own youtube video! If you dare to watch it, please use caution.

I did a 4 mile run Saturday morning. It has been a hot minute since I did an early morning run. It felt amazing. The air smelled like spring, lots of birds chirping, and no traffic. It was lovely. I had a runner’s high all day following this run!

This has never been easier to choose. I was influenced by one of my favorite instagrammers. She posted some workout leggings she loves from Amazon. I bought some and they are amazing! I did my 4 mile run in them and they felt amazing. I wore them yesterday for leg day and they felt amazing! And they were only $29 and come in tons of colors! Check regularly, because they drop to $19 every once in a while.

And that is a wrap on Friday Favs this week! Thanks for stopping by the blog. We will be back on Monday!
