Come see what a random Saturday looks like in the Miller house! I documented August 3rd and then gathered all the pictures into today’s post!
Enjoy!
I slept in (for me) this Saturday until 6:30am. It was a very peaceful morning.
For the first hour it was just me and Baker awake. He put on some cartoons and I started with coffee from our new Keurig. Then, I took my Quiet Time Routine outside on the back patio.
Today’s verse of the day was….
Psalm 20:7
When I was finished- these two were up and super snuggly.
Martin was also up, so we took the littles on a short walk to keep the house quiet for Benny to keep sleeping.
Unfortunately, Ruby wiped her (IBS) bum all over our coach, so this day turned into the day that we took all the covers off our Love Sac coach and washed them. The joys…
While Martin and I tackled this job, Benny woke up and was put in charge of pancakes! He is getting pretty good at them!
While Martin did his workout, I cleaned up the pancake breakfast, made my breakfast, then cleaned up that breakfast, and folded some laundry. The kids made a pretty epic fort using the bunk beds.
Folding laundry and cleaning your couch is so much more fun when the Olympics are on!
USA! USA! USA!
Around lunch time, Baker and Madley asked to play at DeDe and Gpa’s house. While they were hanging out over there, Martin and I took a 3.5 mile walk. It was HOT but very fun to get an hour of talking uninterrupted. Some may call it a “hot date.”
Benny just stayed home and chilled in the fort.
After our walk, we went to Chick-fil-a to pick up our catering order. On this night, we were hosting a family “End of Summer Swim Bash!”
We had so much fun with everyone!
We headed straight home for showers and bedtime. It was a fun Saturday. Once the kids were asleep, Martin and I put on a Big Bang episode and called it a day.
I hope you enjoyed a little glimpse into our weekend. See you tomorrow for another blog post. Thanks for spending part of your day with me.
