Bringing a child into this world is such a monumental life moment, I didn’t think anything could compare to it.
However, seeing your child go public with their faith through baptism is a whole different kind of moment. Watching Benny get baptized is the closest I will ever get to Heaven while living. The joy, gratitude, adoration, and humbleness I felt made me feel like floating. It is hard to describe!
Y’all- Benny is a child of God. The Holy Spirit is living in him! Praise the Lord!!
One of the coolest moments of the night was SO many of his friends surprised him afterwards to celebrate. We went to Freddy’s for ice cream and all his buddies were there, grandparents, cousins, the whole Sims family- all there to celebrate Benny! WOW- it takes a village and we love ours!
