Today we are going to start wrapping our heads around the fact that school and early mornings are here. I am mentally preparing. I decided to create a little challenge for all the moms like me.
It is time for me to be nicer to morning Kari. Night Kari is going to start stepping up in a big way through my BEFORE BED CHALLENGE!
Every school night, I am going to make sure I do these six things to set me up for a successful morning. I challenge you to also do these six things (or create your own BEFORE BED CHALLENGE) with me. This challenge is a win-win for everyone in the whole fam!

CLOTHES LAID OUT
This one goes for the whole family. Have that tough decision out of the way and not up for debate in the morning.
DISHWASHER LOADED/STARTED
Imagine waking up and all the dishes are clean and ready for you if needed. Unloading the dishwasher is always an after school chore while everyone eats their snack.
WATER BOTTLES FILLED
Nothing like running late in the morning and then realizing you need to take 5-10 min. to fill up the dang water bottles!
BACKPACKS PREPPED
Check the folders. Do the homework. Put in the snack and water bottle. Backpack ready and by the door!
LUNCHES PACKED
This one…. oh this one… Making lunches causes me the MOST stress in the mornings. This is the one that I am most eager to get on top of.
PRAY FOR/WITH EACH KID
I want to take just a minute or two to pray for each of my kids. I want them to hear me pray for them. I also want prayer to become a daily habit in their lives.
