Beginning of summer ’23 / Family / By Kari Miller Fishing with Cousin Ty Madley's First Caught Fish! The cutest little fish for the cutest little girl! Baker is now unhooking his own fish. Big Time! Caught a big boy in Ty's neighborhood. The leader of the pack with the biggest catch. RUBY Loves summer So many walks! So many Baker Snuggles. SWIMMING GoodBye pre-k, hello KindergarteN! Miss Sharon has got our girl ready for kindergarten. The last Miller is done at Ms. Kari's house. It was a sad day saying goodbye to this amazing woman. My kids LOVE Ms. Kari. Madley's trip to the Emergency room She woke up unable to move her right hip. Went to bed completely normal and woke up unable to walk. So to the ER we went. Waiting to get X-rays and bloodwork done. This girl rocked her IV, tough as nails. After an hour of IV pain meds she was feeling up for a popsicle. She pretty much had the nurses wrapped around her finger. They were amazing. After her X-rays came back clear and the bloodwork showed no sign of septic infection in the hip, she was cleared. It is amazing what those IV meds can do. She was up and walking within an hour. Here she is picking out stickers! All she wanted after being discharged from the ER, was to go to DeDe's house where we had missed a family lunch. Everyone stayed so they could welcome Madley back. She ended up being diagnosed with Post Transient Synovitis. I'll let you google that. It is more common than I thought, but it presents as a septic infection which is life threatening and requires immediate surgery to clean up. By the grace of God, it was not. Botanica with DeDe And that is all for this week’s Miller Family Snapshot! I have a feeling summer 2023 is going to be one for the books. See you tomorrow!
