About Me
Kari Miller Blog
Hi! It’s Kari. I am 36 years old. I grew up in Andover, KS on a 5-acre ranch with my parents and my two older siblings. I grew up playing basketball. It was all I wanted to do. After high school, I received a full ride scholarship to Kansas State University. Go Cats! I absolutely loved my time in Manhattan and meet some of my greatest friends.
After college, I married my high school sweetheart, Martin. We moved to Fort Worth where he worked for the railroad and I taught 4th grade. While in Texas we had our first son, Bennett, in 2012. He rocked our world in the best way possible. We knew that we needed to get back home to be close to family. Benny was too good not to share with our most favorite people, our family. We finally got back home in 2014. In 2016, our second son, Baker was born. Then in 2018, our daughter, Madley Grace, was born.
So here we are in 2024. A family of 5, living in our dream house that we had built. We spend our days at practices or games. I am a part time virtual 1st grade teacher and love connecting with homeschool families.
I started a blog to connect with other women like me, to be a light in this crazy world, to share my faith, and encourage others to do the same. We are not alone in this world.
