Random Things: February 2025

I struggled to think of a blog post idea for today. Hence why it is coming out hours later than usual. So, we are just going to go random today. Today, I am sharing ten random things. Buckle up.

Madley is currently obsessed with the solar system. She can name all the planets in order, she knows what they are made up of, she knows the dwarf planets. She can tell you the temperature of the planets. It is wild.

Baseball has taken over our house. Both boys are so pumped for baseball. Baseball is on our TV, bats are all over the house, we are sleeping with our mit, and the baseball clothes and accessories are being worn!

We got a cold tub. Everyone has tried it. Martin and I both have used it multiple times. It is a very invigorating experience. More on that to come, I’m sure.

75 Hard has been amazing(ly hard). The hardest part so far has been the diet. It is hard to be disciplined 100% of the time. But the first 9 days have taught me that I CAN DO IT. 

I can hear birds chirping as I type. That makes me really happy. Also, fun fact, Benny is terrified of birds.

Madley LOVES basketball. She had a double header this week. When I told her she was going to play two games instead of one, she could not contain her excitement. Skill wise, she has a ways to go. However, she plays so hard and fearlessly- I LOVE IT!

I cleaned my car yesterday. OMG- it took so much longer than I anticipated. It was disgusting. Some things I found/learned….

-3 week old banana under the seat.

-dog vomit from who knows when.

-candy canes are similar in strength as concrete when licked and discarded into cup holders.

-$1 bill, I kept that as my tip.

My 18 day old niece is the most beautiful baby. We are all so in love with her!

Bennett plays in a basketball tournament this weekend. His first tournament since the first weekend of December. To say we are excited is an understatement. He hasn’t been injured, most of his teammates had school ball and were unable to play in tournaments.
