Merry Christmas Everyone!
Kari Miller Blog is SUPER FESTIVE today! Today is all about Christmas goodness!
I have blogged every single day (M-F) since May 23rd last year. I am going to take a week off of blogging next week. I am going to miss y’all so much! I know I will come back so excited to be blogging again.
Today is the last blog post until December 30th. So, I need to get all the things in today. So buckle up, turn on the Christmas music, pour your coffee, and let’s dive in!
Make a Birthday Cake
Take a break from the cookies, bake a birthday cake, write Happy Birthday Jesus in frosting!
Sing Happy Birthday
Cake or no cake, take time on Christmas day to sing happy birthday to Jesus. A lot of the bible may be too difficult for young kids to understand, but kids understand birthdays. What an incredible opportunity to teach kids why we celebrate Christmas!
Christmas Eve Service
Take the family and attend a Christmas Eve service. If you have kids that are apprehensive to attend church, please ask around or research which churches in your area invest in their kid environment. Put their church needs first. Finding a church that makes church fun and engaging for kids is a church you will continue to go to.
Draw the Nativity Scene
I found a youtube video through Art Hub for Kids. This dad takes you step by step in how to draw the Christmas Nativity scene. Hang up that picture, talk about the Nativity scene and the Christmas story.
Make Birthday Cards
Get the art supplies out and make a birthday card for Jesus. Maybe hang a birthday banner even. They can even put the card under the tree as a gift to Jesus.
Click on the images below for all the info! Your kids will LOVE this church. It can get crowded, so come early!
Thank you, LauraBelle Photography, for these pictures we will treasure forever!
From our family to yours, here is our Christmas card for 2024!
