If you know me in my everyday life- You know this about me. I like to be comfortable, I NEED to be comfortable. Jeans aren’t my thing- stretchy pants are. Sandals or boots?! More like tennis shoes!
Because I like y’all so much, on one of my days off I decided to try on and photograph some athleisure outfits that can be worn to work. I did my hair and make up on a day off?!? Don’t ever say I don’t like you.
Disclaimer: I love to be comfortable- that is not to be confused with sloppy. I want to look good, feel good about how I look, but just feel comfortable in my clothes. Doing my hair and makeup are great tools to dress any athleisure fit. I also need to wear tennis shoes. Wearing shoes that lack support or structure lead to very sore tendons in my ankle and foot. “Beauty” is not worth it.
I am not going to tell you where specific articles of clothing are from, this is more of how you can put your current athleisure clothes to more use! But, don’t hesitate to reach out for specific brands.
Here we go…
I love a wide leg pant with a tucked in shirt.
An oversized denim shirt is a great bridge from sweats to professional.
It is hard to see- but I have some blue joggers paired with an oversized shirt. Front tucked only!
Super simple. Joggers + Crew Neck Sweater = Comfy Cool!
This black jumpsuit is the greatest thing I own. Pair it with a jean jacket and some dunks= HOMERUN!
This oversize black flannel shirt is my new staple piece. I love it so much, especially paired with some olive pants and striped tank.
Probably my most comfortable outfit I put together- camo pants with a solid hoodie shirt never disappoints. And I think I just made Hoka’s cute!
I don’t wear color as much as I should. This pink top has been a color staple of mine for years!! I paired it with some faux jeans and Target sneakers.
I have never worn this outfit combo- I am now so glad I did this blog post because I discovered this fit. I love it! You will find me wearing this weekly! I love an oversized cardigan. Makes any outfit seem dressier and polished!
Lilac pants that are as light as a feather? Yes- please! I have worn this little number too many times to count.
What did you think? I wasn’t a huge fan of the selfie picture taking and posing at first. But, I decided to throw any insecurities I was feeling out the window and just have fun with it.
I hope you found some inspiration to dress in a way that is comfortable and cute. Athleisure is a way of life- and I am here for it!!
See you next time, blog friends!
